Introduction

Dear Clients, Friends and Colleagues,

As founding principals of Windward Group, John Craig and Becky Jewett have twice yearly strategic meetings where we discuss the progress of our practice and our growing vision for the partnership.

During these meetings we recap broad learnings from our various assignments and think about how the lessons learned have helped us become more insightful leaders and consultants. During our last meeting, we reflected how disparate companies struggle with similar issues, which are often like those that challenged us during our years at the helm.

This realization has led us to the idea of writing a periodic newsletter in which we would discuss ideas as a way of spurring thoughts for those guiding companies through both the strategic challenges of a changing environment and the tactical obstacles of the day-to-day.
